Welcome New Patients
We welcome new patients to our friendly office in Waterville, Ohio. On your first visit we will ask you some simple questions and have you fill out the basic medical and dental history forms.
We try to keep our quality dentistry affordable for everyone in a variety of ways. Careful treatment planning can often spread treatment out over several years if necessary. Our office works with most insurance companies to get the maximum benefits we can for you within the limitations of your plan. We also offer CareCredit ® which is generally easy to qualify for to help with financing if you need it. If you like, all details of this can be done at home online or over the phone for the sake of privacy. This way you can get the good dentistry you want and need when you need it. They even offer certain plans with no interest financing.
Our Dental Assistant
Gail's voice is usually the first you will hear when you call our office. She is a Certified Dental Assistant who received her training at Northern Kentucky University. She has a wide variety of experience in the dental field both clinically and administratively. Her relaxed confidence building chairside demeanor makes our patients feel like part of the family and quite at ease.
Our Dental Hygienist
Amy our dental hygienist graduated from Owens Community College in 1998 and has been with us ever since. She is perhaps the most gentle and careful dental hygienist you will ever know. She is very concerned with doing a “good job” of cleaning your teeth and getting to know you so we can be sure to tailor your treatment to fit your needs. We generally schedule 50 to 60 minute appointments to allow plenty of time for a relaxed careful “cleaning appointment”. Regular checkups and good home maintenance are the most important basic care you can provide for your teeth.
Dr. Argentine is originally from a small town in eastern Ohio along the Ohio River. He attended West Liberty University in West Virginia on a full academic scholarship. His college roommate was the son of an orthodontist (and he is an orthodontist himself today) who introduced him to the profession of dentistry. He attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and graduated in 1979.
As an ongoing commitment to doing the best for his patients, Dr. Argentine always takes many more hours of continuing education than is required. He considers this a key to remaining on the cutting edge of the profession while providing the most modern excellent care he can.
Dr. Argentine is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association and the Toledo Dental Society. He is one of the original members of the Black Swamp Dental Study Club which is a local component of the internationally prestigious Seattle Study Club. He especially enjoys the “hands on” aspects of dentistry and has found through the years that working with people, not just on teeth, is the most rewarding aspect of the profession of dentistry. He and Gail have three adult daughters. They also enjoy walking their "rescued" dogs in the Maumee State Forest and at Oak Openings Park.
